System Notes
In August 2023 Carthage began using MOSWIN TG 44062 moving away from this NX system.
In April 2023, the Joplin and Avilla sites were turned off "permanently." This resulted from the Jasper sheriff moving to MOSWIN in November 2022, and some rural fire departments leaving the system. Also, the rural municipal law enforcement has moved to MOSWIN. The NX system continues to support Carthage , utilities, schools, and highway departments, which do not need the Joplin and Avilla sites.
This realignment requires a change in the name of the system from Jasper County / Carthage MO Public Safety to Carthage Public Services.
