System Notes

This is the Statewide Law Enforcement (Project 25) Radio System (SLERS). The initial phase of this system has been to replace all of the aircraft sites around the state. Eventually, this system will replace the older EDACS TRS that has been in place for many years.

Update 1 November 2020:  Per Florida FCC submittal data, there are two mobile sites that can be deployed:  One is Orlando (773.78125, 774.03125, 774.28125, 774.53125, 774.78125) and another in Talahassee (773.80625, 774.05625, 774.30625, 774.55625, 774.80625).

A blanket FCC authorization does exist for this system under callsign WPTZ787 - and sites do re-use frequencies across the state.

 

Update 5 October 2024:  It appears that the sites have started conversion the conversion to P25 Phase 2, but are not yet broadcasting TDMA Control Channel data.  Please monitor your local sites and submit to the RR dB
