The NYSP uses a duplex radio system on VHF. You must listen to both the base and mobile frequencies in order to follow the conversation.

Mobile Repeaters
Pyramid SVR-250 800 MHz repeaters crossbanded with Harris M7100 VHF mobiles. Very low power, you need to be close to the Troop car to hear them.
