March 2026: Levy County appears to be testing a new 700MHz P25P2 trunking system (00A.92BFA) - this system is not yet in use but is on the air. It is expected that all public safety communications will move to this system when it is fully operational.
Levy County Sheriff has returned to using the State of Florida SLERS system for primary communications. Levy County Fire Rescue continue to remain using Icom NXDN. Fire Dispatch is simulcast across all dispatch channels.
