System Notes

The Franklin Township trunk system is a direct sub-site of the Somerset County trunk system (they share the same site controller).

Franklin's system infrastructure was completed ahead of Somerset County's, and was placed on the air first. Fire & EMS operations were added to the system in 2008. They maintain their VHF radios for mutual-aid purposes.

This system was split-off from the County system to better aid those that use the 'web import' feature of many scanner programming softwares.
