What is TWIN? Managed by the City of Irving Information Technology department, TWIN (Texas Wireless Interoperability Network) supports connections to all carrier networks for broadband interoperability. The Land Mobile Radio (LMR) network is powered by EFJohnson ATLAS P25 infrastructure and supports all LMR manufacturers through standards-based and proprietary interfaces which support standards-based protocols, CSSI ISSI, Critical Connect and Smart Connect.
