State of Texas Interoperability Channels
VHF Narrowband (12.5 kHz)
- All channels must use CTCSS 156.7 in FM mode.
- NIFOG channel VMED28 is designated for Ground-to-Air communications with EMS helicopters and other aircraft that may be assigned to an incident or event.
- NIFOG channel VTAC17/D operations are not permitted in Texas.
