Most air ambulance services in Iowa are contracted with Air Methods and dispatched by AirCom out of Omaha.
Avera is a South Dakota-based medical system with several facilities in northwest Iowa. They fly medevac helicopters (among other places) in the northwest quadrant of Iowa.
Lifeguard provides air ambulance services around the Linn County area and is based at St Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids.
MedForce provides air ambulance services around the Quad Cities area.
