The Chattahoochee River 911 Authority (aka "ChatComm") serves Sandy Springs as its 911 Emergency Call Center. ChatComm was created in 2009, a joint effort by the cities of Sandy Springs and Johns Creek. It is operated following the Public-Private model with iXP Georgia, LLC managing the day-to-day operations. In addition to serving the cities of Sandy Springs and Johns Creek (which uses the Fulton County P25 system), the cities of Dunwoody and Brookhaven (each of which use the DeKalb County 25 system) are also dispatched by ChatComm.
