The Japan Joint Land Mobile Radio (J2LMR) is a joint system utilized by United States Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and the Japan Self-Defense Forces (自衛隊) throughout Japan. J2LMR is a APCO P25 based Land Mobile Radio System that utilizes numerous RF sites (towers) owned by each service to share RF coverage over a wide area in Okinawa and mainland Japan.
