Information from Dave @ www.dfwfire.com postedto DFWSCAN:
The Baylor Healthcare System Police Department or it's official title
Baylor Healthcare System Department of Public Safety is a fully accredited
law enforcement agency. It's very similar to a university police department.
With access to TLETS/NLETS (Texas Law Enforcement Telecommunications System
and National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System) Access. The
department has Texas Commissioned Peace Officers and Public Safety Officers.
Public Safety Officers are basically security officers and primarily cover
the smaller campuses. Dallas and Garland campuses have police officers
assigned. The dispatch center is located at the Dallas campus and at this
time only provides radio dispatch service to the Dallas and Garland
campuses.

The BHCS PD also uses a leased channel from SMR but I don't have the info on
that and the department also has the capability of using the 800mhz mutual
aid system and does dispatch does monitor them. There are several other
channels mostly unused talkgroups that I don't have information on. Also,
just for the list's info St. Paul, Methodist and of course Parkland all have
PD's.

It is not a very strong system. The control channel is only strong enough to monitor with TRUNKER within about 2 to 3 miles of the hospital.
