Freenet VHF CB (6 channels), allowed in Germany only. No license required, 0.5 watt maximum power. Narrow FM only.

Low-Band CB

German 26-27 MHz CB allocation (80 channels from 26.565-27.405 MHz). Channels 41-80 are Germany-specific. 4 watts maximum AM carrier power, 12 watts maximum SSB PEP. 4 watts maximum FM power.

FM use predominates, but AM/FM/SSB allowed on channels 1-40. FM only on channels 41-80. Personal, business and hobbyist use.

Digital modes (ROS, PSK31) are allowed on specific channels. Voice is allowed on the digital channels as well. Internet connection (Echolink, etc) and simplex repeaters allowed on specified interconnect channels. Unlike CB radio in most countries, Germany has allocated specific channels for specific uses (calling, interconnect/repeater, etc). Nationally-assigned channel uses listed with each channel.
