Southern Rolling Plains Prescribed Burn Association
Operations
The Southern Rolling Plains Prescribed Burn Association covers the counties of Baylor, Crosby, Foard, Haskell, King, Motley, Stonewall, Borden, Dickens, garza, Jones, Knox, Nolan, Walbarger, Cottle, Fisher, Hardeman, Kent, Lubbock and Scurry. These Burn Associations are public/private partnerships to reduce and control open burns and wildfire prevention. They are not nessesarly fire suppression units but are closer to fire prevention operations.
