Most federal agencies have already moved or are moving to this system for all communications along with the existing users consisting of DOE/NV Test Site and Nellis AFB. The Las Vegas offices of the FBI, US Secret Service, ATF and US Marshals are using this system, however most communications are encrypted.
Also Mt. Potosi may also be an active site.

Misc System Information
Formerly listed as National Nuclear Security Administration, this Motorola digital communications system is used for a wide-range of communications/information applications ranging from high-level security to day-to-day maintenance operations throughout the facility's 1,400 square miles. Initial loading projected 2,000 units.
Users: U.S. Department of Energy NNSA/NV Test Site; Bechtel NV, the facility's general contractor; and other government and private testing laboratories within the test site. Near by Nellis Air Force Base will be added in the future.
Ranch Control - movement around facility
Gatehouse Control - controls entering/exiting areas 3 and 5
Bird Dog - responsible for most movement around the National Test Site
