I also live in the area.. no need to scan in TRUNKING mode. You can scan the Salem Keizer 800 in conventional mode. Keizer PD is about the only use

Salem Police have swapped channels
Also LEO for the Willamette and Siuslaw National Forest. C-COM (Clackamas County) does Mt Hood LEO if I remember right.

I hope they don't spend too much money. Countywide consolidation in Marion County could be in the future. Also.. WVCC 911 starts dispatching for LINC
