PL / CTCSS on AM CB
I would expect the overwhelming noise on the CB bands would distort the PL tone to the point it could not be decoded reliably.

GRE: Dead or Alive?
It seems strange the GRE folks based in the US seem to want to stay in business if sales are that low.
