System Notes
This new Project 25, digitally trunked radio system will replace the legacy, disparate two-way radio systems that are currently in place. All county level public safety first responders will use this system, and other local communities have been invited to join this radio system in the future. Currently, the new radio system is operating with Phase I modulation, but was designed to be easily upgraded to Phase II technology in the future. With that said, the initial testing phase has begun, and users will be cutover incrementally over the next several weeks.
