Great River Energy is based in Elk River, Minnesota, and provides electricity and related services to 28 member distribution cooperatives located in Minnesota and Wisconsin.(See Link Below)This system is a wide area Motorola Smartzone system. It was orginally thought to be a LTR system, so site numbers have been adapted as follows:
Site numbers will be in the format of Nnn; where N = the state and nn = the actual site number.
Site numbers in the 100's are located in Minnesota.
Site numbers in the 200's are located in Wisconson
Site numbers in the 300's are located in North Dakota.
Other states will be added if needed.
Site numbers in the 800's or above are unknown site numbers no mater what state they are located in.
Monitors in the MN, ND, and WI areas are asked to check on this system as we need Talkgroup information. Those monitors with the capability of running Trunker are asked to submit what you can so we can get the site numbers corrected.
