9/13 - This analog trunk system has been turned "OFF"...Its been replaced with a ILL-Starcom Digital Encrypted system "SID:0140h-using a new Tower 151....The same freqys are being used with a new set of "ENC" talk groups.....

Stateville Correctional Center has operations inside the maximum security walls, a minimum security farm, and also a fenced in metropolis connecting to the west wall and sallyport of the main prison: The Northern Illinois Reception & Classification Unit or NRC. The NRC is the receiving site for new and recieving inmates from the Northern region of Illinois.
