Indiana Railroad took over operation of the rail lines of the Canadian Pacific (CP) in the Terre Haute area in May 2006.
The former CP line is referred to as the Chicago Division of the Indiana Railroad.
The original Indiana Railroad line (former Illinois Central trackage) operates from Lis, Illinois, to Bloomington, Indiana. Radio transmissions on this line can be monitored from Vigo County.
