Clinton-Sherman Airport (CSM)
This former Air Force Base has the longest concrete runway in the state.
It is used by both Tinker AFB and Altus AFB for practice takeoffs and landings.
There are plans to use the airport as
The Oklahoma Spaceport for horizontal launch and recovery of reusable private
space vehicles beginning as early as 2007.
