Trunked Radio Systems for Statewide/Common
Michigan Public Safety Communications System (MPSCS)   
Project 25 Standard    		 Many communities and counties across the state, including the city of Detroit, use the MPSCS for all of their communications needs. This allows greater flexibility when they are interfacing with other public safety agencies from across the state; thus, promoting the excellent interoperability potential of this system.

Fire Interoperability Radio System

Expanded DNR Statewide Fireground Plan: currently, being implemented to help coordinate resources in rural areas across the state, where forest and wildfires are a significant threat to life and property.
