Whistler EZ Scan Digital Scanner WS 1080. Easy to use programing with just your zip code or program using Whistler's EZ Scan software (free download). You can also directly enter frequencies from the key pad. The is a multi-system digital/analog APCO P25, Trunking: Project 25, Motorola Type I/II/Hybrid, EDACS and LTR Systems scanner. High quality decoding of P25-PhaseII (full TDMA) and X2-TDMA modes. It has latest firmware upgrades. Whistler upgrades the software of their scanners from time to time and the upgrades are free which is very nice. Don't let the technical aspects of this scanner scare you, It's easy to program and use. It uses virtual scanner technology and you wont run out of space to store channels with 10 million selections that can be categorized into over 200 scanlists. It come with the complete US and CANADA database on the included Microsd card. It is updated frequently and the EZ SCAN software connects to radioreference for the updates.  This scanner has the latest updates. You should join radioreference it is a great resource for all things scanners. This scanner is used and does show wear. Any scratches on the front are not seen when the scanner is on and the light for the face is in use. I believe the front plastic cover can also be replaced if you ever really scratch it. This is a great scanner and has lots of life left. I like Whistler scanners over all others as they have figured out how to avoid a very annoying click every time a channel is used. If you have a head set on then that little noise will drive you crazy. I am selling because I am upgrading to the newer scanner. You are getting a great scanner for the price. These still sell for $500 plus new and the cheapest one I could find online was $300. That did not include the rubber case I purchased for it. No trades please.  Includes what you see as well as the belt clip and the usb connector.
