Send Me Your Radio Junk!

Looking for:

I am looking for your Misc ham stuff.  Old Receivers, Transceivers, Repeaters, Antennas, Scanners, whatever.

Working, or not, but in repairable or usable condition.

Look, lets face it- your wife is right.  You're not going to get around to fixing it, or finding it a home.  (mostly because she's given you a "Honey-Do" list that just keeps getting longer.

I'll be happy to pay for shipping, but I don't make a whole heck of a lot of money so I'm limited on budget for buying things.

The stuff won't just go to me, it'll also help another young ham and scanner enthusiast that I'm mentoring.

This way, you help a young Ham/Scanner enthusiast, and get your wife off your back.  That's worth more than what you'd get on Ebay anyway, right?

Here's the stuff I'm looking for, but I'll take almost anything:

Mobile and Base unit ham or commercial gear.  Any band. Ideally all-mode, but I'll take it if it's not.

Stealthy Antennas.  A slim jim antenna would be killer.

A repeater.  Preferably 144mhz range but I'll take 440 or 220 as well.

Scanners and wide-band receivers.

Misc parts and Cables.

Send me what you have and I'll let you know if i can take it.

Keywords: junk, ham, gear, antenna, amateur radio, repeater

not exactly.  I'll pay for shipping, and i'm not looking for anything "top of the line" or even working.  Also it's not exactly for personal use, it's going towards mentoring young hams and monitoring enthusiasts.  I'm hoping to start a program locally here.

the preceeding post in no way reflects the views of anyone except myself. ---
