I hand build end fed antennas that can be used for SWL and transmitting on HF (80-6m) up to 150W (with a tuner) They're sealed from the elements, tough as nails, multi-band, (tx with a tuner) They contain the correct hand wound transformer built on a Micrometals toroid to match the longwire to the 50ohm impedance of the radio. These can be built with a terminal for RF ground if requested.
I use one myself for both HF QRP and receiving SWL broadcasts. I have heard broadcast from all over the world and even hams from as far away as Australia.
For transmitting, higher power models can be built, but the price increases with the price of the transformer core. I can build up to 1500w. Contact me for details.
These make great limited space HF antennas as well as easy to deploy portable and emergency hf antennas. (Great for HF Emergency use) Throw a rope up a tree and a multiband sloper antenna is deployed in less than 5 minuets.
The finished antenna in the picture is to show whatthe end product looks like, that's the one I've been using for a while as a eazy up HF QRP and SWL antenna. It's a little dirty from being outside. Yours will be brand new.
What you see in the 2nd picture is the proper transformer to match a longwire antenna to the 50ohm port on the radio. Upon compleation it will be sealed within a sealed enclousure and painted to prevent UV decay. This is tha same thing found inside many commerically available shortwave atnennas costing 2x to 3x as much, but why pay 2-3x as much when ou can have one hand built for far less?
I can also build these with connectors for the standard SO-239, BNC or even the F connector for cable TV coax. (F connector uses an adapter that cost a few bucks more.)
I take pay pal. cash. or money orders, money will be held for 5 days after you receive the product to ensure you're satasfied. Returns accepted (you pay postage for returns)
