Up for bid today is one (1) Motorola XTS 3000, series 3, 800mhz radio. This radio has upgraded boards in it making it as close to an XTS 5000 that you can get. The only difference is the 1 meg memory board that this XTS 3000 has. (the XTS 5000 has an 8 meg board). Included in this auction are two (2) batteries, one (1) shoulder mic with velcro, stubby antenna, belt clip, & desk top charger. Additionally; this auction comes with a Motorola XTVA vehicle adaptor (converta-com) for this radio. When placed in the XTVA the hand held radio is converted into a mobile unit with seperate amplified speaker, palm mic plus the unit charges the battery on the hand held. The XTVA comes with all power cords and plugs that fit the recepticles in the rear of the unit, plus the mounting bracket. All items are used but in full working order when removed. I have used this radio on an 800mhz digital trunked system for the past 2.5 years with no problems. I was informed about 2 weeks ago that the controllers were no longer allowing personally owned radios on the system, plus they wanted all radios to be the XTS 5000 series to support future upgrades. So I am forced to sell this one. It is currently programmed with one conventional talk around channel in it. All other system specific info and talk groups have been removed.

About the radio, it will work on systems with a 9600 baud rate, conventional, trunked or digital trunked. It has Host code of: R06.72.00, and a DSP code of: N08.03.05.
