You are listening to Grady EMS and Rural Metro EMS which provide EMS response to Fulton County, GA.
Grady EMS provides 911 ambulance response for the city of Atlanta and the tri-cities (East Point/College Park/Hapeville) areas of south Fulton county. Grady EMS is a public EMS agency run by the Fulton-Dekalb hospital authority and affiliated with the Grady Health System/Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
Rural Metro EMS is a privately owned company that provides 911 EMS response through contract affiliation with many areas in both north and south Fulton county including the cities of Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Johns Creek on the north end and cities such as Palmetto, Union City, Chattahoochee Hills Country and unincorporated areas of south Fulton.
Both companies use their own talkgroups on the Fulton County 800MHz trunked radio system owned and operated by Fulton County government. The Fulton county 800 system is a Motorola Smartnet II analog trunking system that is used by various agencies in Fulton county and went online in late 1989. The system is being streamed from my location in southern Cobb county using a RadioShack Pro-2052 TrunkTracking scanner fed into an IBM NetVista Pentium 4 2.6GHz CPU, using a SoundBlaster Pro AWE64 sound card and OddCast software to the RadioReference server. An external 1/2 wave antenna is used. Connection is provided using Clearwire WiMAX wireless internet via a Motorola CPE150 WiMAX base station fed into a Linksys WRT54GL router.
More information on the Fulton county system can be found on the RadioReference database including system frequencies, talkgroups and other information:
