This feed is provided by a Uniden BCD396T, and covers the StarCom21 P25 digital trunked radio system. StarCom is used state-wide throughout Illinois for interoperability and state agency operations. Talkgroups covered in this feed are Illinois State Police districts 1 and 17, AmerenIP utility crews, and various other emergency management TG's. Other TG's will be heard from time to time as conditions allow. Other counties covered in this feed include LaSalle, Putnam, Carroll, Whiteside, Ogle, and Lee.
From time to time the scanner used for this feed will need to be taken out of service. During such times, aviation communications will be streamed, and a status message indicating this will be posted.
